Coats hasn’t gone rogue, he has gone American. Dan Coats is a very conservative American but he is an American. Trump isn’t. Trump is a Russian asset.

I would be surprised if Coats lasts the week. Trump can’t have anyone around him who cares more for his country than he does for his job.

According two Andrea Mitchell at NBC, Trump has 3 problems with the DNI: 1) he will likely not resign, 2) he has a lot of friends on both sides of the aisle in the Senate, which is already leery of Trump’s newest “excellent adventure” with BBF Vlad, and 3) Coats knows Everything, (except what Trump did to us during his one-on-one with Putin in Helsinki.)

In short, bring the popcorn on this one…

Trump goes behind closed doors with Putin and translators, allegedly makes decisions and agreements binding to the United States, unknown by anyone else in the government, and a WH official complains that Coats has gone rogue??? WTF???

Sounds like any of them, hard to say, may be Bolton. Interesting they see him as rogue and wonder if there is more to it than this one event. Of course, if you are not a rogue in this administration, you are on the treason train. The nature of human events being complicated, very few cases in history come down a clear point of bifurcation, but this is one such.

COATS has gone rogue??? I think these staffers need to get OUT a little more. The majority of the country agrees with Dan Coats than thinks that Trump is even a little bit sane or any knowledge of foreign affairs. I know, I know…the poll out today about the majority of Republicans (37% of the electorate) believe that Trump kissing up to Putin and tariffs are a ‘good’ thing is being cited all over the place but I don’t buy into that for a second. I think the majority of Republicans are doubling down because they are grifters and whiners and see themselves as victims so they pretend they are backers of everything Trump does or says…I’m sure when this is all said and done they will be blaming the party that has no power for everything because if we breathe we are wrong.
