Rosenstein probably told Trump “you’re the number 1 target of the Mueller probe”.
“Rod told me I’m not a target of the investigation. … The lawyers ask him. They say, ‘He’s not a target of the investigation,’” he said, later saying he didn’t know when Rosenstein had communicated that."

Hey now do you really want to stir up the cultists? Aren’t they deluded enough?
And all trump heard was “You’re the number 1.”
Since he barely works 5 hours a week, doesn’t read, and unable to use a computer, what did you expect?
He had Pence read him the part on bearing false witness.
Mulvaney hides the crayons and coloring books before letting photographers in.
Something about defending the gravity of the office, I believe.
Subject to change without notice, of course.
FIFY, it’s just another day.
As soon as he’s done yapping, they’ll close the doors and get some really awesome tabletop air hockey going. It’s “executive time.”
tRump also said that the intelligence directors didn’t say what we all heard them say, live on TV.
The edition I sent him for Christmas was PRESIDENTING For Dummies. It has more pictures, and comes with its own box of crayons…
Many people say the gravity of the office has not been so strong (or big) since William Howard Taft. MA(XXL)A!
Indictment Friday’s make him nervous and jerky.
He thinks he is preempting bad news by throwing chaff to ensure muddy water before anything comes out.
ETA: I think Mueller should hint indictments earlier each week and just build enough stress in Trump he has a heart attack as this could be the cleanest break for us all.
Sure he did.
Trump claims his intel team personally told him what they reportedly testified to, in public before open committee, was fake news. Media presented their rematks out of context, and what they actually said is perfectly aligned and in agreement with Trump’s positions.
So, having established Trump has absolutely no connection to reality, and he’s hopelessly deluded, whatever he says about Mueller’s investigation can safely be assumed to be nonsensical bullshit.
Matches his brain, but not his gut. And
More likely he never talked to anyone and is just making it up. Like a 4-year old, he believes that saying things will make them so.
Yesterday too. Something has him afraid again.
In all seriousness and don’t everyone jump on me for saying so but isn’t it time for a younger president that harnesses the tools of modern work? I can’t imagine what my productivity would be like without the benefit of a computer. I guess it’s not solely a function of age…
