They would need Democratic votes for the Congressional votes. Wouldn’t need anyone for Pence and a majority of the Cabinet to initiate the proceedings. Interesting thing - even if the Congressional vote failed, Pence and a majority of the cabinet could vote again and again to declare that person incompetent to serve. Each time they voted, it would start the process over.

I did a little snooping around the google and I found out that of the last 7 presidential elections 6 times the democrats won the popular vote. Twice now they won the popular vote but lost the Electoral College (assuming the recount fails). It is my suggestion that there be a Constitutional Amendment eliminating the Electoral College and instituting a straight up popular vote.

Can you imagine what would happen if they DID this? Trump’s reaction to that is beyond my ability to predict! He would likely fire everyone immediately after the refuting of the stand against him.
Surely they are relying on Trump’s disinterest in the work of the presidency, and just tell him on a daily basis that he is the best president EVAH! And then go on to ruin the country for all but the 1%. All the while telling the rubes that the reason their lives still suck is because — OBAMA!
EDIT TO ADD TO THE COMMENT ABOVE: The Electoral Dollege favors the GOP. It gives each rural vote far more value than urban voters. Would we accept that in the many countries that we monitor? What other Democracy does not have one person – one vote? Only us! The GOP will never give that up unless a miracle happens and their white base realizes how they have been screwed for decades. (NOT LIKELY,).

Trumps allegation is the most schizophrenic thing I have ever seen. If millions of votes were cast illegibly, as he alleges, then he may well have lost the election! If so, is this why he and his surrogates are so vociferously condemning the recounts called by Jill Stein? The paranoia here is rampant and gives even more credence to the argument that Trump is unfit and completely incapable of executing the duties of President. Members of the Electoral College, please take note!!!

“Ass-kissers” reminded me of when my husband was learning English and asked me what an ass kisser was. I had to describe the behavior with examples. He nodded in understanding & said, “Si, chupamedias.”
Chupamedias translates to “sock suckers” which I find much more demeaning & somehow apropos to this situation.
