Discussion: Trump Claims Poll Numbers Are 'Very Good,' Despite Historically Low Approval

Actually, he lost the popular vote by over 10 million - he lost to HRC by 2.9 million votes.

But hey, let’s test drive his theory - nullify the November election due to, let’s call it “foreign interference”, and have a do-over. If he’s so confident that he’ll do at least as well as he did last fall, prove it!

Ironic that the only category where he isn’t underwater in the recent ABC/WaPo poll is the one he quotes. Actually, not ironic at all given his complete fall into all delusion/all the time.

Why did it take him 7 minutes between tweets to complete the popular vote lie?

I liked the pair that were a variation on that theme, with matching signs: “protest sine” and "protest cosine "…

I think to Trump and many of his supporters, winning the Presidential election is like your team winning the Super Bowl, or some other type of game. You’re team is the winner and gets to go home with the trophy and wait till the next election.

To them, “who knew” that meant you had to govern a country.

They just don’t get that being President is a job, not a trophy.

“Would still beat Hillary in popular vote.”

Has anyone yet pointed out to him that he’s never beaten Hillary in a popular vote?

It is the George Costanza presidency. It’s not a lie, Jerry, if you believe it.

I bet another category he would win would be the number of his supporters who believe he actually won the popular vote.

So, in other words, there could just be a significant number of people who voted for him who won’t admit it and only 2% of his voters actually admit they were wrong, or fooled, or both.

Who among us doesn’t think that it’s been made clear to staff that only good news crosses his desk? That he might have been telling the truth about the lie he tried to tell at the crazy press conference about the size of something…he said that is what he was told. Maybe he’s being honest?

This meme of “voted for Obama then switched to Rump” is by far, one of the most incredulous things I’ve ever heard. I simply can’t & don’t believe it.

That poll found that 96 percent of respondents who voted for Trump in November said it was the right thing to do, while only 2 percent of Trump voters regretted their decision.

That 2% is important for Dems in the goal of picking up House seats next year. Senate’s gonna be a different story…
