Then Candidate Trump was clearly inciting violence and assaults against the African woman by his white southern racist christian supporters at his Louisville, Kentucky rally. Trump also repeatedly offered to pay lawyers’ bills for those who assaulted minorities at his rally.
Say a hearty thanks to Mr. Kellyann for that, Rump. You get to be sued for things you did before you were “elected” president*. They never seem to realize that the law is (supposed ) to apply to everyone!
They BOUGHT tickets to a campaign rally? Since when do people pay to attend a political rally? Was the Trump family chiseling his supporters at rallies (aside from lying to them)?
Fundraisers, I get, but campaign speeches/appearances?
I’ve never been to one I paid to get into…
A president is not immune to lawsuits for actions taken before he becomes president. Ask Bill Clinton.
Didn’t the Republican swine strip all the protections from the Presidency to get to the bottom of a consenting adult relationship in the White House in the '90s?
What kind of short sighted morons would do such a thing? Well, anyway … enjoy!
Nor I, though to be fair, all the campaign speeches I attended were outdoor events. And they were given by actual politicians, not a narcissistic fraud looking to feed his ego and pad his pockets.
Instant karma’s gonna get you …
Lowlifes.
Hoo boy Are you ever right…
I heard about this ego driven “reqest” by trump earlier today and thought it an Onion story… but no…
trump is demanding a ride down the mall in the Queens gold encrusted carriage… with her…as if he has the power to command her.
Wait until @uk_observer gets wing of this.
If I were a British citizen I would be incensed. As it is I find it seriously embarrassing.
Thank you.
As I previously wrote: The Brits would be smart to deny entry to Chiselin’ Trump. After all, he’s a known sexual predator of underage girls and a known sexual assaulter. They should not allow his transnational criminal cartel to expand its operations to England.
They’re a bit late there as donnie has a fancy golf resort in Scotland… but then Scotland is not England technically speaking so I probably should amend that to say donnie does have golfing operations in Great Britain. And I think it good and proper that he be excluded from the United Kingdom on criminal grounds.
Trump’s team responded Friday to the protesters’ federal lawsuit, saying he’s immune as president from such suits.
Clinton-Derangement-Syndrome now comes and bites Trump in the ass. The Paula Jones lawsuit made it so a sitting POTUS can be sued personally while in office.
The precedent was set in 1997 after Paula Jones sued Bill Clinton with a suit that was filed in 1994.
Clinton and his defense team challenged Jones’ right to bring a civil lawsuit against a sitting president for an incident that occurred prior to the defendant becoming president. The Clinton defense team took the position that the trial should be delayed until the president was no longer in office, because the job of the president is unique and does not allow him to take time away from it to deal with a private civil lawsuit. The case went through the courts, eventually reaching the Supreme Court on January 13, 1997. On May 27, the Supreme Court unanimously ruled against Clinton, and allowed the lawsuit to proceed.
Oops.
Trump’s legal team is starting to make the sovereign citizen movement look like authors of reasoned motions.
And it’s on tape.
Sure, but I don’t know that it’s a criminal enterprise. But sexual assault and sexual predation of minors are surely criminal in the UK, right?
Those people are nutcases and their court filings are nothing but gibberish.
As Donald trump has always claimed, he’s just one of the guys. You know, one of the guys where the rules don’t apply to him. Draft dodging, lying president and just one of the 1%ers but also someone who cannot even prove he is “a very rich guy.”
He doesn’t need or deserve immunity. It’s the citizens of the U.S. that need immunity from trump’s black plague of lies.
Ha ha ha. See Jones v. Clinton, Mr. #45. You’re not immune.
Well, he is allowed to drop big ole’ bombs on folks, isn’t he?
