And the Associated Press reported that in addition to downgrading his talks with Erdogan from a formal meeting to an informal pull-aside meeting, the same downgrade would apply to his talks with South Korean President Moon Jae-in.

I’m not as clairvoyent as Corsi, but just guessing here —

Downgrading the meeting with Erdogan because (1) the meeting would annoy Mohammed bin Salman, who will also be at the G20, and (2) his staffers keep insisting that he can’t just hand the Turkish cleric in PA over to Erdogan to make Erdogan happy and drop the pressure on MBS.

Downgrading the meeting with Moon because he doesn’t have any progress to report on North Korea and doesn’t want to admit his meeting with Kim accomplished nothing positive and did not eliminate the NoKo nuclear threat.
