I don’t think NC legislators are terribly worried about their reputations. The senate leader claimed the fact that there was almost no evidence of voter fraud was proof of how well it’s been covered up. Thom Tillis thinks the requirement of employee handwashing signs in restaurant bathrooms is gov’t overreach.
