“We have three major voter suppression operations under way,” an unnamed senior campaign official told Bloomberg.
That pisses me off big time. It doesn’t surprise me but I doubt my reaction to toss a few more dollars to Hillary is what they have in mind. Will this election EVER end?
That about sums it up for Republicans.
Not for anything
Nothing positive
Against everything
Trying to convince the rest of America that their dystopian reality is the truth .
The idea, as best I can figure, is parlay their losing strategy into a biglier losing strategy. That’s about as credible as the candidate himself.
So…what else is new?
This comes from the campaign that spent more on hats than on internal polling?
I’m shocked…
“What he’s built is the underlying apparatus for a political movement that’s going to propel us to victory on Nov. 8 and dominate Republican politics after that,” Bannon told Bloomberg. (says the man who always–always–looks like the town drunk)
What new “political movement” is that? The Tea Party 2.0? Seriously, it’s the same demographics, same basic political, voting information that everyone already knows exists. How fucking valuable can all that common knowledge be?
Typical Republican gasbaggery: manipulative, dishonest and totally dependent on an idiot class of voters. It going to be tough to keep the stink off this manure.
He forgot the part about putting as much campaign contribution money in our own pockets as possible.
Well, the GOP had better do something or their spending the next eight years under the Consent Decree that they’re already under thanks to doing stuff just like Trump is.
The irony is that rather than seeming to discourage Democratic turn out, they’re encouraging it.
Rest assured. This will do nothing but stir up the Democratic base against HOTOG while simultaneously providing yet more ammunition for the DNC to use against the RNC in its “voter intimidation” lawsuit.
Hey, RNC, when a federal judge extends that pesky consent decree to 2025, don't say Donald J. Trump never did anything for you! After all, he's a very charitable guy.

ETA: Wow @artemisia, it appears we were writing the same thing slightly differently at the same time. Oh well. Logical conclusions are logical conclusions.
The only thing new is the WikiLeaks stuff, and so far is has been a whimper compared to Trumps outrageous indiscretions.
Play those cards if you want, geniuses, but all those constituencies hate you with a passion. I made a video months ago for our local group about a young woman who was volunteering. She was originally a Bernie supporter, she said, but there was a Trump rally on her campus and she said the hate coming from the people there was “horrifying.” She was down to vote for any Democrat, she said. This was in the summer before things really even got rolling. So there’s that. And Hillary’s actually done her homework with getting out the vote. So just keep flopping like a fish on dry land and we’ll see you on the 8th.
A focus on Clinton’s WikiLeaks e-mails is dedicated to turning away young white former supporters of Sen. Bernie Senders (I-VT); highlighting women who have accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct is aimed at undermining her appeal with young women; and her 1996 reference to some black gang members as “superpredators” is meant to suppress the vote among African American voters.
This is silly. They are trying to take credit for three separate events that they had little or nothing to do with. The Wikileaks story has had limited impact thus far, and press coverage has been muted. The “superpredators” story had a life of its own before the Trump campaign tried to highlight it, and it will probably have some small but real negative impact on turnout regardless of what they do. And trying to tar HRC with Bill’s sexual history will go exactly nowhere.
And guess what, Ms. Glover appears to have a criminal record for reckless driving. Anyone surprised by that?
Trump Supporter Brings Effigy of Clinton With Noose to Rally
An effigy depicting Hillary Clinton with a noose around her neck dangled above the crowd cheering on a Donald Trump rally in North Carolina on Wednesday.
Trump supporter Ginger Glover gave the the “Lyin’ Hillary Doll” a personal touch by tying a rope around its neck.
I’m not. I am typing this while still rolling on the ground, laughing. Trump’s “digital campaign” consists of a “hipster” sycophant that has no experience in politics, database design or strategy and bubbles down to sending out unhinged tweets. $100,000 weekly surveys? HAHAHAHA. Hillary’s campaign has a profile of every voter out there, and is making contact with those supporting her in the battleground states, in some form or fashion on a weekly, if not daily basis.
This is amateur hour. But I needed a good laugh
Well it’s not working. Like anything Trump touches, their ideas are bankrupt from the start.
The joys of forums I caught that the DNC had filed suit last night on Maddow and that the GOP is desperately trying to say that they have nothing to do with it. And yet, they are pretty much going to be held responsible
People of all stripes were lined up (inside) on a rainy afternoon yesterday to vote early in Chicago. It’s not a competitive race here, and turn out was strong when I was voting.
I want these fuckers to lose so hard.
