Discussion: Trump Campaign Hires Former Palin Aide

Discussion for article #238926

Do I have to shop at a truck stop to get one of those “Make America Great Again” hats? Super classy.

Wow, Trump has outdone himself! Hiring any Palin campaign aide is surely a mark of his total idiocy! Amazing.

he said he would “love” to have Palin in his cabinet

Romney had women in binders, Trump dreams of Palin in his cabinet.

Liquor cabinet that is. That way she can burst out whenever he opens it, and spout gems like this, "“Ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the healthcare reform that is needed to help shore up our economy. Um, helping, oh — it’s got to be all about job creation too. Shoring up our economy, and putting it back on the right track. So healthcare reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions, and tax relief for Americans, and trade, we’ve got to see trade as opportunity, not as a competitive, um, scary thing, but 1 in 5 jobs being created in the trade sector today. We’ve got to look at that as more opportunity. All of those things under the umbrella of job creation. This bailout is a part of that.”

From the breathtaking legendary Katie Couric interview.

Well, with that track record of success, Hillary may as well concede right now.

But, so is America.
I mean, I know this is awful…it’s kinda of like confronting a horrible, ugly truth about yourself or your family in the context of a sudden, surprising crisis…but presidential candidate Donald, love him, hate him, laugh at him or fear him, is very much a product of our American family and the corrupt Rube Goldberg fantasy of a political system too many chefs have stirred into a maelstrom.

One of the funniest things I ever saw on SNL was Tina Fey simply quoting Palin exactly verbatim. As you demonstrate again, imkmu3, the purity of nonsense is hilarious.

“Trump Campaign Hires Former Palin Aide.”

He was director of vice-presidential operations for McCain/Palin in 2008?

Ah…the all-time gold standard of competence in American politics.

But don’t you love the music? It’s like the guy (Henry Hey’s the name) is standing behind her mocking her every word, but in this fun way I’d never actually heard of before. He’s certainly had as much ear training as anyone I’ve ever heard and I’m thinking he might be a perfect pitch person. Anyway it always makes me laugh. I meant no harm. And now I feel bad.

Let’s not go in for guilt by association. I’m sure Palin could have dragged McCain’s campaign underwater without his help.

There goes any hope of gravitas for the Trump campaign.

Whatever, we’re all dancing like hypnotized mice to The Pied Donald of Hamland because there’s nothing good on TV…

Josh Marshall is making a fortune on Trump and friends…
