Or criminal impersonation of an actual Presidential candidate.
The size of the rallies seems to be the only metric Trump (mis)understands.
The Scorpion and the Frog—it’s an absolute, pure example of it. He needs whatever GOTV effort can be cobbled together at the last minute. On the off-chance he still believes he could win, he would need as many GOP votes in Congress as he could have. This is insanely, suicidally vindictive and miserly. And all you can do is nod your head because it was completely predictable. He lives to injure whomever he can reach.
So much for the stories yesterday about HO helping out down-ballot candidates.
So, the final stage in cashing out the campaign and fulfilling the only promise HO ever really believed in – making money running for President.
In other words, Trump is tired of sharing Republican voter’s money with the Republican party and figures he’ll just keep it for himself.
Given how quick he is to use Trump Foundation money as his own personal slush fund, I wouldn’t be surprised if he manages to steal political donations for personal use in the upcoming months. Add another financial based crime of Trump stealing from the poor to enrich himself.
Too bad their chairman is on the record publicly swearing allegiance to Trump every step of the way.

Trump’s co-writer was on Lawrence O’Donnell last night, and he basically said that Trump is so petty and vindictive, that if and when he loses, he will spend the rest of his days getting back at the people who he thinks cost him this election. That it’ll consume him. That’s the type of guy he is.
Albesure, that’s why he needs to bank the cash instead of turning it over to the RNC. Vengeance on 75 million voters don’t come cheap.
