Discussion: Trump Camp Insists Nominee Hasn't Flip-Flopped On Immigration Policy

Well. I may agree with them because you can’t flip-flop on something that never really existed to begin with…

We can confirm that his campaign has done a lot of flopping over the past few weeks.

A “mechanism not a policy” – wtf does that even mean? If you say there should be a certain “mechanism,” then that"s your “policy.”

Gonna have to spin harder than that, spinners.

He hasn’t flip-flopped on the position we can’t describe because it’s so ultra-complex but he’s using different words about the mechanism in his plain-spoken American way but the principles haven’t changed.

OT but does anybody else find it eerily adorable when Trump portentously announces he’s going to make a “major speech” on such and such a topic? It’s like a 5-year-old playing grownup, sounding all pretend-serious. Odd in an actual grownup, of course, but still cute in a very weird way.

Trump’s initial rantings on immigrants has resulted in his boobs now being in the wringer. Please tighten that wringer.

Mikey’s right: Donnie has been consistently inconsistent and consistently deranged.

Hadn’t thought about it, because you tend to get inured to his never-ending hyperbole, but you are right, it is childish behavior… Although, personally, I wouldn’t call it “adorable”.

It isn’t just that Trump is all over the place with his wording and what he says he wants to do, but his campaign staffers are all over the place. There’s no message discipline. At this point, his campaign is scattershot and has no focus when it comes to anything other than trashing Clinton, and I learned over the course of several campaigns that you have to have a firm platform to stand upon in order to win. You can’t just run opposed to someone or the other Party- you have to stand for something.

And Trump stands for a thousand contradictory things because he desperately wants Daddy’s approval.

That, and he wants to bang his daughters. Just got reminded that he talked in sexual terms about his daughter Tiffany when she was an infant.

Montell Williams called Trump a 70-year old with the emotional and mental maturity of an 8-year-old.

8-year-old is perhaps generous.

I have to agree with you there. He’s less mature than most 5-year-olds I’ve met.

And less impulse control than the average kindergartner too.

Trumpet has plenty of policies. The best and classiest policies. And since he has taken all the positions over the years, there are none left for HRC. Ergo, he wins that debate, or so his people say :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe all interviews of Trumpeters should start with a question about if there are any policies that exist outside the candidate’s mind in the moment.

Nah, Donald Trump doesn’t flip-flop. The motherfucker somersaults.

I have an 18-year old dusky lorry, a small parrot, who is so intelligent that when he needs fresh water he mimics the sound of running water coming out of the kitchen faucet.
Donald Trump hasn’t even learned to pee straight.
MAKE AMERICA AVIAN AGAIN!

It’s funny how every time Donald flip-flops, his surrogates start flop-sweating.

I think that’s because his message is so confusing. They can’t be consistent because his message isn’t consistent.
