Can’t tell if Haley requested the money from him or not, but it looks like The Donald gave her three increasing contributions totaling $7,000 in 2010-2011. The third was well into her first term as governor.
$7,000 is not “a hell of a lot of money.” It wouldn’t even cover a bet with Mitt Romney.

I can’t decide whether I should laugh or cry. Maybe I should do both.
They’ve been hinting at that for some time. The Confederate flag hullabaloo didn’t help her any in that regard.
But Haley has a lot of problems hiding in her closet. People that float her name as a VP front runner really haven’t taken a close look at her political career. She may not be as stupid a Palin, but she has a very high probability of blowing up on a campaign trail in much messier ways.

What tickles me about this and so many of his attacks is that he’s destroying one prominent Republican’s political career after another. Whether or not the establishment knows it or is willing to admit it they lost the war. Every time they try to talk some sense into the base, every time they try to stand up to Trump, they lose a little more.

When Mr. Obama won in 2008, I was not anticipating the opposition he was to experience. As I may have posted months ago, my wife was not surprised.
And it was her who, in 2009, told me to take that Mexican flag off of the rear view mirror when we were motoring thru RedState territory. I believe her words were:

I thought at first maybe TPM just wanted to postpone the deluge of sophomoric comments, but probably really funny posts all the same regarding sex toys being sent to a bunch of tin soldiers out in the boonies. I was all gung-ho for that one myself. But now it looks like 5 or 6 articles won’t accept comments. It sure would be nice if for once they posted any site issues when this happens. They do have a section for that sort of thing and the last time anything was posted there to alert readers was last June. I checked.
Anyhoo…time to walk the dog in the blizzard we got going on here. Lake effect crap with winds ablowin’. Its probably gonna be a really short walk, so I guess its time to make some comfort food too.
