Trump, proving to republicans once again, that he is not their man. Off message according to the republican obstructionist playbook and ignorantly talking about the ārightā of the president and the Senate to fulfill their constitutional obligations. Trump is the gift (to Dems) that keeps on giving. Couldnāt have happened to a nicer party.
Thatās some Palinesque word salad there.
I am repulsed by the phone-in candidate and his irreverent spewsā¦I do not want a hiding, phone in bullboy.
He could turn the nomination process in to a TV reality show, Supreme Court Apprentice. Think of the ratings.
I donāt know if somebody calling in is a late-night first. But I thought from the headline that Donald Trump understood at least one basic fact about how the U.S. government works, and that, certainly, would have set a new precedent. As it turned outā¦nope. But itās a long primary season so I guess thereās still time.
Trump: I would nominate if I was the president. Constitution is clear on it. Itās one of presidentās jobs.
GOP Senate under Trump: That makes sense. Why shouldnt he? Reagan also did it. This is all liberal media making stuff up.
Lord love a duckā¦there he goes again. āALLā things to all people. āI would nominate a successorāā¦but āthe Senate is completely right to hold up thingsāā¦and of course, get the āshort period of timeā (11 months) in there for the RNC. Uh huh.
He already has. Trumpās campaign is his new reality TV show that was originally designed to fire Bush but with this surprising success heās going to fire the entire Koch Republican Party.
The whole world is watching and the extremist in the Middle East will claim victory if Trump is elected. They will claim revenge for our invading Iraq and killing Salaam by driving our political system to being bat shit.
