Discussion: Trump: California Wildfires Have Been 'A Very Sad Thing To Watch'

He’s actually describing himself.

I’m not surprised.

I’m not surprised either…

And Trump’s Slovenian-born wife had to remind him to put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem. Some patriot.

And those letters are going out “today or tomorrow” - Want to bet someone is only writing them now…

Once again, it’s about how he feels when seeing images of absolute devastation. Not a shred of compassion for the thousands who lost everything and were made homeless.

Incredible…what a strangely inappropriate word to use about people dying in a fire.

“And here there are Americans dying, not those Mexican Puerto Ricans, so it’s sad”

-Donald Trump

Governor Brown isn’t afraid of Trump and routinely does things that show it. He runs this huge state pretty much as well as any human could considering the size, diversity, competing interests, and natural disasters (drought, floods, earthquakes, fires – we’ve got 'em all).

He’s older than Trump and, yet, he is fit and vigorous and sound of mind. And popular.

For all decent humans, scenes of devastation are always emotional. For those of us breathing the smoke from these fires, it’s personal. We have always rallied to help people beset by hurricanes and floods and fires in other parts of the country (and world) and we appreciate how many communities and states and individuals are doing all they can to help here. That’s how the American people are so different from this smirking, strutting fool who purports to be our leader.

When the orange shitstain watches tragedy befall the citizens of California he secretly snickers about how much trouble this is causing for the governor. Because he himself has no soul that would allow honest empathy and a desire to help.

Yes indeed.

It also demonstrates that we don’t live in the same country that Trump and Wayne LaPierre and Trump’s supporters live in because that country and its population are degenerate and we are not. That country has a population who we’re told will turn on each other the minute there is a big catastrophe. Obviously we live in a different country because in our America almost everybody runs toward trouble to try to help.

And we will ultimately save this country because of who we really are as a people.
