Normally I refuse to watch Repub debates, but I just turned this one on and everyone was yelling over everyone else. It’s actually kind of entertaining.

I listened to the warnings that watching this debate might have complications and that if I had any concerns I should talk to my doctor about them. And that if I experienced any of this long list of really bad reactions to having watched this debate, up to and including sudden death syndrome, I should talk to my doctor about this,
I experienced sudden death syndrome about twenty-seven minutes in.
Waiting now to talk with my doctor about it.

once again, the word that got play was said by a supporter, because she believes that Cruz is weaker than Trump on the subject of waterboarding,
That word continued to get play during the cycle, because the MSM found it an easier story to sell.

Couldn’t agree more. He’s so obnoxious and horrible in so many ways, but he’s also the only one on stage who slips into a nugget of truth here and there.

Perhaps… then again, it’s not something he suddenly started just now. He’s never really been conservative regarding this issue. He’s for universal healthcare. He said he was pro-choice before he started saying he was anti-choice (expect it to change anytime, depending). And he’s never been a vagina-less Fiolina when it comes to PP. And yet, his supporters never care. He doesn’t care himself (even if he seems to be “for” something he doesn’t seem to have thought it through). Issues don’t matter and thus far never hurt him.
This guy is just angry a uppity black became President, mocked him, and ruined his America. I think ultimately that’s the entire driving force of his campaign that appeals to his supporters.
How would those “independents” out there react to such an anger campaign, I don’t know. There’s just too much uncertainty if/when he becomes the nominee (one reason I would prefer Rube or Cruz for our nominee to face).
