This might have had a little more âassuringâ effect if Melania had said it herself. And, of course, he couldnât just say âshe loves what sheâs doing.â Had to throw in the whole âwinâ thing again. In fact, thereâs twice as much about running and winning as there is about her liking what sheâs doing. No surprise there.

As rickjones points out, there is NO REASON why this statement couldnât come from Melania herself and the fact that Rump has to give it only solidifies the idea that she feels like sheâs trapped in a very unhappy situation.
