Discussion: Trump Associate Complains Journalists 'Are Nosy' And 'Throw The Eggs'

I’m thinking of the R critter from VA, Brat, who trying to be cool, I guess, said something about people being all up in his grill about healthcare reform. WTF?

“Journalists are nosy…”

That’s kind of their job, jackass.

Better to use a grill to get up into Brat’s grill

“What I don’t like about our current political environment is that every morning we wake up, we take a dozen eggs out, and we say, OK, who are we going to throw these eggs at today?” he said.

He must be still mad at those reporters who embarassed him in relation to the Elton John flub.

Scaramucci said that Kushner and his family “are new to the political environment.”

Care to explain what you mean? Because it sounds a lot like the kind of bigotry we expect to hear from the right.

Poor Mr. Scaramucci: It must be exhausting, and privately humiliating, to be a sadomasochistic authoritarian lickspittle.

“Scaramuccia (literally “little skirmisher”), also known as Scaramouche or Scaramouch, is a stock clown character of the Italian commedia dell’arte. The role combined characteristics of the zanni (servant) and the Capitano (masked henchman). Usually attired in black Spanish dress and burlesquing a don, he was often beaten by Harlequin for his boasting and cowardice.”

If they’re any good, yes. Be thankful for them.

Complaints about “nosy journalists” are entirely consistent with an administration that wants to get rid of that bothersome 1st Amendment.

“Journalists are nosy, and journalists throw the eggs,” Scaramucci said in an interview on CNN’s “New Day.”

Young man…you should count your lucky stars that Edward R. Murrow isn’t around to fry your ass in hot oil in public… on the Tee Vee.

edit

Yes , journalists worth their salt are nosy. It happens to be their job. Deal with it.

Quite recently trump and Priebus explored the idea that trump could alter the amendments he didn’t like by a simple Executive Order like the 30 or so he has issued so far. They hadn’t the first clue what the process is for amending the Constitution. I suspect trump threw a very private full on wall pounding hissy fit when he realized how complicated and time consuming the actual process is.
