Discussion: Trump Aide: Republican Leaders Didn't Tell Trump To Change

“Donald Trump was not asked by the leadership to change. And there’s no reason for him to change,” Manafort said, with a chuckle. “He’s just won the primary process with a record number of votes.”

Exactly. We on the other side of the aisle don’t want Donald J. Trump to change a thing. As a matter of fact, we’d appreciate it if he’d ramp it up even more. Please.

Also, more of “electing Hillary Clinton will be like a third term for President Obama,” please. Outside your echo chamber, GOPer leaders, BHO is more popular than your patron saint RWR was at this point in his term. Anyway, please keep saying that every day.

Trump told the columnist that Ryan did not request he stop making crude remarks about women,

That’s excellent news… for Hillary Clinton.

Well, perhaps Paul Ryan can have another “summit” (anyone old enough to remember what that word meant when used in politics?) with It and after reading even more from the Constitution, can tell him to change.

Trump’s sugar daddies.

Of course they told him not to change. He encapsulates most everything they have supported from the Goldwater campaign to the Southern strategy to today’s congressional disfunction.

Hillary Clinton’s outreach to the women indicated below is going to be crucial:

That is the PRECISE picture I have of Trump…as well as the destruction he has wrought and will do in the future.

The MSM made Trump…but as far as stopping him, we have us and whichever Millennials, minorities and women we can muster up. In other words…outnumbered (in terms of resources) and strength, we are on our own.

It’s Sunday, May 15 2016, 12:30 pm EDT, and every single story in the top half of the home page has Trump in the title. I feel like I’m looking at the print equivalent of that scene in Being John Malkovich when Malkovich exits the porthole to find himself in a world where everyone has his face and the only word they say is “Malkovich.”

Only here it’s all Trump, and the only name on the front page is Trump. Trump trump. Trump trump trump, trump trump trump trump - trump trump. Trump?

AND … Don’t lose faith in what the downtrodden can do … Yes, it will be messy, but on election day, those who, as of then, have kept silent… are going to rise up and there will be such cry from the reasonable, as the nation has yet to hear — The GOP’s use of fear is a two way tool that they have yet to account for —

Cut in half by the fact that she’s not black. I know that’s not the only reason for those voters, but, it’s mostly mainly probably the only reason.

Well, duh? Mannafort never told third world dictators to change. He told first world GOPers to comply.

Yeah. Because there’s no reason to think that a political whore like Manafort would ever lie in the service of the country’s best-known pathological liar.

It didn’t matter much in the end. but my guess is likely Romney was facing off against Obama.

The modern day GOP was so certain that they had the win that there were columns like Larry Elder’s about what to tell your child when the president loses. (because the links are going to Townhall and Twitchy).

“Donald Trump was not asked by the leadership to change. And there’s no reason for him to change,” Manafort said, with a chuckle. “He’s just won the primary process with a record number of votes.”

…and in the process, won the first heel version of the Royal Rumble.

Now if Manafort was going to stake a claim to the idea that Trump finished his portion of the cycle, before Hillary did, then I have to applaud him, because that’s true.

However he shouldn’t be bragging about record number of anything, when to most modern day GOP voters, Trump is either the political incarnation of Elvis or Vanilla Ice.

Trump has a ‘SPLIT PERSONALITY’, it’s hard to know ‘WHICH’ will show on any given day, hour or minute…we’ve heard about his John-Johns.
