Discussion: Trump Aide Insists Foreign Leaders Won't Dare Insult President Donald

I can understand Miller not wanting to say “Vincente Fox” but what’s Camerotta’s excuse?

“Every leader’s knee shall bow?” More like “Every leader’s ball shall slap” Donald’s ruddy cheeks

Trump’s jealousy will first manifest in cracks about Mrs. Pence which will clue staff and kids to begin freezing the mister out…

lol… does he think that when he gets to change the libel laws he isn’t going to be laughed at in the US? will he pass a rule that makes using his image a Federal and religious crime like making a drawing of Mohamed?

I know, I know! I believe it’s every living former leader of the United States, with the current leader being the most adept at it.

If any leaders do “dare to insult” him, he will deal with them by tweeting a furious response. That will show them!

He can’t even command respect within his own campaign staff. That’s why his campaign leaks bad news and embarrassing internal stories like a sieve. And now someone in Trump tower is mailing his tax returns to the NYT from inside the building…

“I think what you’re going to see is we’re going to get back to winning again and that’s with Mr. Trump in the presidency.”

Well, damn. Who can argue with that?

This is known as the “Madman Theory” and was an important part of Nixon’s foreign policy. The idea was to convince foreign leaders that Nixon was a madman who might launch a nuclear strike on a whim so they better not cross him.

I don’t think many foreign leaders would be hard to convince that Trump might launch a nuclear strike on a 3:00 am impulse. I know I’m convinced.

OT: Keith O has a couple of new The Closer’s up on youtube. If you like Keith, you’d probably like them. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him more intense in this one:

Delusional. Were it not for the sake of the Republic, I’d love to see all the dissing The Donald would get from other leaders and then watch his face turn bright orange while Twittering away at 3AM. Good times.

Miller (and Trump) clearly confuses respect with fear. I have no doubt that world leaders will fear how Trump may erratically perform in response to any perceived slight. We already know he cannot handle even mild criticism without becoming unhinged.

OK - so define “INSULT” - because right now Trump gets trashed every day in “diplomatic-speak” - but the Trump camp is too dense to understand it.

also - right now - I don’t think I would feel good about a leader that did what it would take to get Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte to not lash out - just like fawning all over Putin is not a smart thing to do … but Trump - cuts a few deals with the mob to work out ‘business’ deals - and suddenly fancies himself as some kind of world-scale bad-ass megalomanic wrangler / James Bond hybrid - - delusional! Trump thinks measured skillful diplomacy is for wussies and pansies - Trump is all in for rolling the dice with your future, your children’s future, civilization’s future - but count on him have an ultimate back-up plan - he & his will have a secure fortified fiefdom - somewhere - and he would give the entire nation up in a heartbeat for a guarantee of a large secure slice of the pie for him & his for the future.

The flip side of this is perhaps even more interesting. What will Trump do when he receives flattery from foreign leaders? Well?

Sieg Heil!!

Heck - they don’t need to insult him, all they have to do is stroke that massive ego and he’ll let them do whatever they want.

Trump on Putin - “Putin says great things about me, I’m going to say great things about him”.
