You have to wonder if all of this insanity is having an impact on most voters or if they’re still generally tuned out of what’s going on. At some point, all of these childish antics should register with the average voter and turn them away from the GOP. You just have to wonder when that will be.
I guess on the plus side, the longer this sort of behavior goes unnoticed by the general public, the worse these Trump supporters will behave. If they don’t see any consequence in the poll numbers, it’s likely that will reinforce their opinions.
What’s been bugging me for a LONG time now: the rightwing controlled House and Senate refused more money that had been asked for by the State Dept. to beef up security at Benghazi and other small bases around the globe. For years that money was refused. Not one cable “news” host has mentioned this for years now.
The truth seems to be that the Benghazi base was undermanned and under defended due to republican malfeasance. They always talk like they are oh so behind the military… but the money is somehow always routed elsewhere.
This drives me crazy. As a Navy vet, the hypocrisy of the Right and their low I.Q. idiot supporters ( Hang her! ) should be talked about on the various cable shows… but it isn’t. And it won’t be,.
So what I’m getting out of this convention is: character assassination, calls for actual assassination, doom, gloom, and lectures on Christianity from an underwear/soap actor who makes straight-to-video soft core gay porn.
What we have here are talk radio listeners who have been fed a line of bullshit by talk radio jocks for years. They are active and want to do what the shock jocks have been telling them to do. I blame Ronald Reagan for ending the fairness doctrine in 1987. Since then groups like I Heart Radio and Salem Media Group have been painting a one sided hate filled picture for guys like this “adviser” to eat up. It is time we realized that both sides need a voice on radio.

Then Rick Perry allied himself with Baldasaro right up to the point that Baldasaro cheered the people who booed a gay service man at a NH rally. Perry quickly distanced himself, but exited soon thereafter from the national stage.
Baldasaro believes that there’s a “secret” 13th Amendment to the Constitution that bars all of noble lineage and all lawyers from holding office. For the record, such an amendment was shelved in 1812, and never ratified. But Baldasaro and two other legislators submitted HB 682 in March of 2013, to honor the law like it had been there the entire time. Which… well, that would have eliminated Barack Obama, a lawyer, from being on the presidential ballot at any point, but it would also have changed the entire structure of Congress, which 41 percent of our country’s legislative branch are lawyers.
His ammosexual wedding in 2013 has probably been the sanest thing he’s done in many, many years.

This is incitement and it’s degrading to the country. But we see what Trump’s campaign is all about. This is about bringing Hillary down Ken Starr style. They have 2 more days of their hate fest and then the stage is ceded to the Democrats not just for next week but for the entire remainder of the election.
I’m amazed there aren’t more amateur Democratic filmmakers out there splicing together hours of good campaign material for local and national elections. The repubs have gone on record, night and day, with enough hate speech to bury them forever, if only progressives would be a bit more gun-ho throwing it back in their faces on TV and the radio.
