That and when we no longer can grow the food we need some corporation will “invent” Soylent Green…
After all there already is a firm called Soylent. Soylent is a brand of meal replacement products made by Rosa Foods. Soylent was introduced in 2014 after a crowdfunding campaign. Rosa Foods claims that the formulation of its food product meets recommendations of the National Academy of Medicine. Now all they need is to “greenify” themselves.
How much was this charlatan Happer paid to take this action? He should be marooned on an island that is slowly submerged due to sea level rise, so he can think long about his sins against humanity. Of course, he doesn’t give a shit. $$$ is king to this Fucker.
This guy again…those of us with PhDs get really annoyed when someone uses their degree and science expertise in one field to say complete BS in another field. We really needed strong climate action in this administration to continue the progress the Obama administration made around the world to combat climate change…too bad it wasn’t important enough for people to get past their bad feelings about Clinton to try to save the planet. Maybe in 2020 people will remember the lesson.
Fortunately, Happer is an endangered species. The majority know about climate chaos, many are experiencing right now as we speak.
Majorities in all 40 nations polled say climate change is a serious problem, and a global median of 54% believe it is a very serious problem. Still, the intensity of concern varies substantially across regions and nations. Latin Americans and sub-Saharan Africans are particularly worried about climate change. Americans and Chinese, whose countries have the highest overall carbon dioxide emissions, are less concerned. April 2016
But in a highly unusual move, the White House refused to approve Dr. Schoonover’s written testimony for entry into the permanent Congressional Record. The reasoning, according to a June 4 email seen by The New York Times, was that the science did not match the Trump administration’s views.
Does that mean his testimony won’t appear at all in the Congressional Record or just that where it appears it will lack a formal WH stamp of approval? Do all statements that are made in Congress by representatives of the administration always receive a designation of approval/disapproval?
