Every time Republicans roll out this bullshit, they find that SNAP recipients test positive at markedly low rates, far lower than the general population and far too few to justify the cost. But the important thing, of course, is to maximize shame and humiliation on Those People to satisfy their mandate from the Deplorables to inflict harm.

So obviously states wasting a ton of money on this wasn’t quite proof enough that the Federal government shouldn’t do the same. I must say for a party that touts itself as fiscally responsible it should be sued for false advertising.
