Discussion: Top Trump Adviser Says Untrue Remarks Aren't More Important Than True Ones

Thanks.

The press bashing almost seems reflexive sometimes.

Didn’t a famous Supreme Court Justice have the perfect word for her, hmmm now what was it…argle bargle, isn’t that it?

Go to the CNN FB page and ask why they continue to interview this lying harpy bitch.

It’s actually kind of remarkable, when you mention it, that a Presidential spokesliar says ā€œWell, some of the things he says are true. That has to count for something.ā€ I’ve never heard that one before. As she deflects from his being a big fat liar, she admits that he’s a big fat liar. So—progress?

I refuse to watch CNN at all until they stop putting KC on their air, and I encourage others to do the same. She is nothing but a propaganda machine. CNN is demeaning themselves and denigrating their own brand by giving her the veneer of legitimacy she does not deserve. Shame, CNN.

Tuning your TV to any other station will send a better message to them than anything else could.

Headline on CNN:
ā€œKellyanne Conway, CNN’s Jake Tapper argue about the truthā€
[[[[major facepalm}}}}

This is the Office of The President of The United States, not some hotel developer for God’s sake!
Let’s be honest for a change shall we? When trump says the murder rate is the highest in 47 years point out to him that Infowars is not a reliable news source.
When trump says something untrue call it a LIE. And if that statement is under oath then toss his ass out in the street

The skank continues to vomit lies. Sad.

Untrue remarks aren’t more important than true remarks.

Putin’s murders aren’t more important than his non-murders.

Ignorance is strength.

Even O’Brien would be in awe.

Any trump shill is a propaganda machine KAC notwithstanding.

Is she really that dumb? If someone lies half the time how is anyone supposed to know which statements are true and which are not? Why did Jake Tapper not point out this obvious logical problem? Oh, excuse me, sorry for using logic.

Thank you, that was my first reaction too. I wish to hell the media would stop allowing her on the air.

Beyond that, Americans should expect their President to tell the truth. It doesn’t always happen, and lapses have been more frequent under some Presidents than others. But it should be news if s/he says something that’s not true. With this asshole, however, it’s actually news if he says something that IS true. That is not, and never should be, acceptable. No ā€œnormalizingā€ this sociopathic behavior, please!

Yesterday, I think Spicer said somrething similar; like ā€œWhat about all the banks Willie Sutton didn’t rob ?ā€

She’s in the difficult spot of trying to please both her boss and the media. She couldn’t deal with being banned by CNN and so she decided to say things they’d like ā€œI don’t think CNN is fake newsā€ and then she had to say something to calm PP ā€œAre they more important than the many things that he says that are true that are making a difference in people’s lives?ā€ And so in the end, she’s pleasing no one - it’s an impossible task. I hope she’s looking for another job.

I’m with you - that’s exactly what I think too.

No. Shameless, duplicitous, and corrupt, but not dumb.

Heres the thing KAC he’s wrong more often than he’s right. Why did they let her back on the TV? my brain hurts just looking at her…

I’ve got a car for sale.

It is a sedan, it seats 5, and it gets 84 mpg.

It is blue, and will never need maintenance.

The 0-60 mph time is just 3.2 seconds, and it comes with remote lock and alarm.

You could drive it into a brick wall at 80 mph with no injuries and only minor cosmetic damage, and it comes with a full-size spare.

Conway will be my character witness in the fraud trial.

Are they more important than the many things that he says that are true

Are there any true statements from Trump? I mean that as a sincere question that I think Trapper should’ve asked. I know there’s an awful lot of word salad gibberish out there that’s neither true or false in as much as it makes zero sense from beginning to end. But I’m interested to learn if there’s been a single statement he’s made since becoming President that is entirely true.

Untrue remarks can be very very important, KAC, especially if stated under oath.
And breaking one’s Oath of Office can have very detrimental effects on that office holder. As Nixon found out.

Welp It is true that he signed Executive Orders as he said he would. Content of said orders is another story entirely. But then there’s the list he said would happen ā€œon day oneā€ that did not.
