I’ve been wondering where the mullah class have been on this ‘election’.
al Sader, al Sistani and the shia elite have allowed al Maliki to power up under the USA’s watch in a best of the worst race to the bottom.
Interesting that (generally) the border(s) now being grabbed, or sustained are similar to ethnic divisions predating the Turk, western European colonial incursion back in the T. E Lawrence era.
