Pruitt did exactly what Trump put him there to do. He rolled back regulation, and introduced chaos and fear into the EPA, making it much less effective at regulation. Trump will fire him due to external pressure only. In his mind, Pruitt is excelling at his job.

Well, it was probably time to move back to the trough following a brief yet productive stint in âpublic service.â After all, they did all the (profound, lasting) damage to the environment their benefactors had dictated.

Maybe voters among their many priorities rank other issues ahead of climate change. Banning assault weapons, pay inequality, sexual assaulters in and out of government, fair housing, childcare, reproductive rights.

Youâre right. I think even those voters whoâve experienced flooding, tornadoes, drought, loss of farms, cattle dying, etc., etc., will not put climate change ahead of any other issue which is related more closely to the economy and personal safety and access to affordable healthcare.
