This. The last thing these state Republican officials want is an actual investigation into voter fraud. So long leverage for their voter suppression efforts if the investigation doesn’t turn up anything.

I think he’s only planning on investigating illegal brown/black persons who allegedly voted. There would be no need to investigate foreign interference that originated outside our borders.

Followed assurance that this is all a distraction from the even worse things going on in the background.

I don’t think it’s a distraction. I basically don’t buy that notion - they are distracting us.

We can handle more than one outrage at a time.

I think it’s a direct response to the presser yesterday where at least 4 journalists asked Spicer why there was no investigation if PeePee is so convinced of fraud.

Don’t make the error of over thinking Trump.
