If Pubbies want to get serious about government shutdowns then Pubbies need to shut down all government agencies. Donāt tell the public you are shutting down the government by closing national parks just like you donāt shut down major league baseball by only sending the bat boys home.

Well the 36% of those who voted these clowns in especially those collecting Social Security or Disability benefits for their sake they better hope wiser folks prevail for if not they will get a lesson early on about voting against their best interest.

The lunatics in the House WILL draft (inarticulate) Articles of Impeachment and Boehner will be forced to bring it up for a vote that ever single Reich-Wing Think-tank, Oligarch-money-man, and trade lobby group will GRADE ON for the 2016 elections.
It will pass on a straight party-line vote and then Turtle-Neck will have to deal with it in the Senate.
It will be such a Gong-Show that the Media will have a field day with it (and they really, really want this to happen as they can just taste the ratings increases.)
This will light the fuse for the 2016 implosion of the Republican Party and the splintering of the āODS Coalitionā into the merely money-driven Corporate-Wing (headed by Jeb Bush) and the openly Racist/Fascist āAmerican Patriot Partyā wing (headed by Ted Cruz.)
Itās going to get very, very ugly out there.

Actually, 18% or so voted them in. 36% of the electorate participated in the vote. If thereās a better argument for voter participation, I donāt know what it is.

Edit:Seems like have the morons complaining think he is giving full citizenship to people, not just prioritizing deportations. Frankly this is the mediaās fault for not fucking broadcasting the speech. That decision means that people are only getting exposed to the speech from their secondary source of choice, which just makes it easier for those Republican secondary sources to do their regular song and dance of lying through their fucking teeth.
Edit: Edit: I would say that Democrats should take a page from the Republicans in regards to working the ref, but frankly the Republicans havenāt been working the ref. The corporate owned ref is already on their side, Republicans have actually been working the audience so the public wonāt notice that the ref has already been bought and sold.

I watched the speech on CBS and then switched to NBC as the sound was better. The speech was broadcast on the traditional ābig threeā of decades gone by. Maybe it was not seen on cable. I doubt Fox would botherā¦ The level of hatred in response from the right is truly awe insiring. Heads exploding all over. I thought Obama did a masterful job myself. He had Boehner and his mob walled into a corner with no rational way out that wouldnāt cost them dearly in votes. And heās on legal ground:
