Hatred of the NSA is a religious issue, there is no logic involved and the amount of data is beside the point. It’s Libertarian dogma. If the NSA were reduced to one person sitting in a basement and watching CNN, Libertarians would still be outraged that it existed, and the NSA would still be the root of all evil.
