“Well the point is that Donald Trump has been making on the campaign trail is that he’s financing his own campaign,” Manafort told Ingraham. “That’s very important for him to say now in his mind because he wants people to know that he owes nobody anything other than the American people, or the voters who are picking, choosing his candidacy.”

No Ma, really, I don't know how those rolling papers got in my jeans pocket. I must have picked them up at a party. They're not mine, I swear.

Though I know why and I can’t really blame him, it’s going to be funny as hell watching his supporters blame this decision on the obvious.

Who would want to give to him?

And when they get reminded of the obvious, they will blame Hillary (and maybe Bill), but as always, all roads will lead back to Obama.

Well, only the Beverly kind can be “big donor” money.

Having been born in raised in the Appalachian foothills, I really can’t tell you how much I hate the derisive use of that term.

I don’t think The Donald is going to find too many big donors in his trailer park crowd of supporters.

I always qualify the term with the modifier “Beverly”. I always wanted to be one of Elly May’s critters. A dirty one. That needed a bath.

LOL of course he will accept big donor money! He doesn’t have a choice.

Being worth $3 billion and having $1 billion in cash (that’s how much Romney spent from all sources in 2012) are two very different things.

Trump has nothing near that kind of cash and couldn’t get it without liquidating most of his net worth.

Hillary will spend at least $1billion and if Trump doesn’t want to be outspent $100 to 1 he will be taking all the donor money he can get, big and small.

This is a no brainer.

If Trump liquidated his assets he’d likely end up OWING money. The “Brass & Glass” market collapsed back in '83 yet he stubbornly held on to everything.

Riiiight - TheDonald claims that he’s spent $25 million of his own and rec’d $9.5 million from his lemmings - er, I mean - supporters.

BUT what Manafort neglects to mention is the

OVER $2 BILLION he’s rec’d in free air time and print columns!

It’s easy to fund your own campaign when you don’t have to actually pay for anything.

“… and Mr. Trump has indicated that he’d be willing to help the party.”

Now how could ANY GOPer not want Trump’s help in a campaign?
