Tom Cotton is one of those @$$holes that think that since the US was so good at beating Iraqi and Afghan insurgents, that had no armor, no air cover, no artillery, no anti-tank weapons, no anti-aa, no nothing they are Invincible.
The chinese have all that, plus anti-shipping and anti-satellite missiles, plus tactical nukes and ICBMs so itâs going to be a much fairer fight.
Besides even short of direct conflict, the Chinese can put a lot of pebbles in the US shoes, like giving AA missiles to the afghans, nukes to Iran or just encourage North Korea to stir trouble.
The Chinese or the Russians are not to be messed with but Cruz, Cotton, Mattis, Trump and many others are consumed by hubris.
