Itās the Born Again lobotomy effect. Like Bobby Jindal, for example. Something about accepting Jesus as your Personal Savior requires turning over most of your brain power. Iām guessing heās more in the born again end rather than the social justice end of the Methodist church. Jindal is a Roman Catholic but indistinguishable from any evangelical Born Again type. Go figure.

How exciting! My husband records the Tour de France every summer, but has never seen it in person. We actually met and married in Europe in the mid-'60s. He was a USAF lieutenant and I was an art student living with my parents (Dad worked for an international company) and we somehow met at a very crowded Mardi Gras party in a huge building. It was fate, I tell ya!
Anyway, the Tour was televised in Europe back then, of course, and I recall watching quite a bit of it one year.
