Now, in what Democrats said was a desperate attempt to deflect attention just two days before a crucial midterm election, Mr. Kemp used his official position Sunday to announce, with scant evidence, that the Democrats were under investigation for allegedly trying to hack the state’s voter registration files.
No, and they probably don’t read most mainstream media outlet. Too many big words and not easily digestible.
They are being fed a steady diet of hate. Actual food might help.
I daresay they were worried the Georgia repugs would hack the vote themselves. No time to waste going thru a Justice Dept run by Sessions.
1st Amendment:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
Repugs have defied and ignored every sentence of this amendment.

I don’t think this bullshit accusation against Georgia Democratic party is just a crude attempt to smear them.
I believe that the vulnerability brought to notice by Democratic members was deliberately built into that to somehow favor republicans.
Or Kemp and his minions are simply enraged that after months of them dismissing repeated warning from experts and democratic party about the system being vulnerable to hacking, they are about to be exposed by democratic party. So in a crude and yes, evil attempt, they are slapping the blame back on Democratic party as a vengeance and with the added benefit of muddying the waters near a toss-up election.
This article would be more helpful if it included a review of how Kemp’s accusation is being covered by Georgia media.
