Clinton would not be stupid enough to be repeatedly goading them to attack, though.
One of Trump’s handlers needs to explain to him that if we get into a shooting war with North Korea, he may not ever be able to go golfing again. I think that would take care of things nicely.
When are you Trumptards going to talk the" Draft" to have the military you need to go to war?
All your tough talking manly draft age punks at your rallies are not brave enough to “Make America Great Again”.
Or are they just playing follow their leader?
Totally undiplomatic, and simply wrong to keep spewing threats of violence as a national policy. We have the Big Stick and know how to appropriately use it, but our current elected and appointed officials also have big mouths that are out of control and who insist on waving Nukes to make their points … and Trump is now asking for an ever bigger arsenal. This has gotta stop before it starts costing lives.
North Korea is an independent nation. It’s always confused me a bit as to why the U.S. or anyone else can presume to dictate what constitutes another nation’s defense capabilities. They haven’t signed any treaty agreeing to forgo possessing nuclear weapons, or have they? Trump himself advocated for South Korea and Japan to develop their own nuclear weapon programs. If we assert the right to a say so about N.Korea’s nuclear weapons what’s to stop us from asserting other limitations? Can we say they’re allowed only a certain number of ships, or cannons, or dictate their troop levels? Is there an international treaty N. Korea is violating, and if so are they a signatory to it? WTF gives here?
I doubt that. No one was talking about a “military strike” on NK prior to Trump and no one was clamoring about an imminent threat…as in nuclear either. I’m not talking about NK’s nuclear program I’m talking about rhetoric in the USA, in particular from the White House, and it’s escalation under Trump.
Erik is not talking about what I posted. He’s talking about NK’s nuclear program and found a snide way to drag Clinton into his diversion.
That is not currently happening? Citations please.
Shut the fuck up you fucking idiot!
There is no military response that is viable.
What a joke. tillerson and trump did everything to make matters worse between china, s and n korea and now that s and n korea forged some kind of deal…kind of like the TPT deal huh? tillerson comes out making demands on an agreement of which he was never a part of…what a DB
There is if “viable” permits the destruction of Seoul. Since Trump can ultimately define “viable” I guess anything is possible.
Exactly!
A no-exemptions nationwide draft of ALL 18-27 year-olds would be the mightiest tool for preparedness AND civic engagement! So many fine younger Americans are very patriotic. Millions enthusiastically voted for Trump, and many millions more were too rarified to vote at all. Let’s get them ALL rowing together!
???
I’m a big Clinton fan. The point is that no matter who was in the White House, the North Koreans would be doing this.
The North Koreans have been refining their plans along the southern border for sixty years. And for all their bluster they do have a fuck of a conventional army. Their Chinese and Russian allies would welcome an opportunity to test their advanced jets in a proxy war with the U.S. and would likely send a few million ground troops along as reinforcements. Meanwhile the U.S. war industry has refined their methods of extracting the maximum profit from ever growing war budgets, and have left the American forces depleted and overextended. All of the above does not factor in the fun and games a nuke or two would engender.
We are looking at a very costly bloody nose. Only a mad man would choose to risk it.
The movie “Oh, What a Lovely War” is worth seeing about that “nice contained little war”.
