As someone who lives and works in the DC area, and has for 40+ years, I can tell you that the people of DC are actually quite nice–tolerant, well-educated, diverse, centered, and civic minded. It’s the assholes the rest of the country sends here who can ruin the place for us. You chose to work for the most mean-spirited shithole ever to hold office in our great Nation’s Capitol, so shove it TRex.
