Senator Hagan. Her staff helped me out about a year ago with the VA and my wife was manning a phone back this past month. Donated what we could but the Koch brothers’ money really determined this outcome. She ran a good campaign and was well liked. Tillis really had nothing to offer and continually tied her to Obama.
So I move from AL to NC and within 3 years we now have to deal with a Republican governor and Senator Tillis. I tell you it ain’t fair!

Anti-Catholicism was central to Klan ideology from it’s rebirth in the early 20th century to and through at least the 70s. Because they had to have somebody to hate in states where there weren’t enough black people to make it worth the money, right?
The modern KKK’s politics are indistinguishable from the mainstream right wing. I’m not joking, exaggerating, or throwing shade. They pretty much believe the same things your average Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh follower believes.
