I am suspicious whenever reading about a so-called non-profit. A loophole for rich and powerful to undermine democracy.
Interesting focal point for a power-broker gathering – a Zoroastrian holiday with nationalistic overtones. One which, apparently is also celebrated by the Kurds(!).
A particular custom was the enthroning of the “Nowruzian ruler” (mir-e Nowruzi, somewhat similar to the lord of misrule in Medieval Western literature and folklore). A commoner was elected as “king” and provided with regalia (often mockingly old and unseemly), a throne, court officials, and a number of troops, and he ruled for a few days and was fully obeyed. Then he was dethroned, beaten, and forced to flee (Qazvini, 1944; Idem, 1945). In some regions, particularly in Kurdistan, this ancient tradition is still practiced.

Hmmmm… sounds very pagan and non-Christian to me… and it’s celebrated in Iran. Somebody needs to alert the Trumpers about this insidious, potentially treasonous fifth column right in our midst.

Honestly, there is so much to try and keep up with. It is (almost) unbelievable the tangled webs in all these large and small scandals and how they might be tied together, etc. For the love of all that is good, I sure hope Dir. Mueller is able to handle the scope of all this and make us proud to be Americans once again. I know – that’s a very heavy order.

The organization was probably created to provide cover to its members as a place to congregate and discuss their nefarious schemes. The organization, itself, is much like Ivanka. She’s only complicit in her father’s crimes.
Please don’t use a broad brush. I’ve worked for science non-profits, housing - micro lending - urban hygiene - failed lobbying - and other non-profits. Most so small no one knows that they’re there.

Being non-profit has absolutely no connection to: 1) loopholes, 2)the rich and 3) the powerful. As two wolves says - too broad a brush". I’ve worked and funded non-profits that did a world of good.
