Dinesh actually almost gives it away when he refers to the United States as a “rogue elephant.” Clearly, he isn’t discussing Obama’s attitude about America per se but about the right wing of the Republican Party (elephants, after all) who have gone rogue (hints of Sarah Palin) against America. Dinesh like his fellow radicals can’t help themselves from insisting that they are America. It isn’t the United States that Obama is trying to control to do “the world a favor and America a favor;” it’s the rogue elephants themselves and their insanity that we should all try to control to do the world a favor and the United States a favor.
