Discussion: Think Tank Removes Piece Comparing Eric Holder To George Wallace

Discussion for article #228102

Holder is a Black Panther George Wallace corporate whore.
Amazing how different factions view him.

“According to our outgoing attorney general, and the 14th Amendment, Civil Rights Act, and Voting Rights Act only protect some citizens (members of the right kinds of racial minority groups) – and should be used to extract political and financial concessions for them,” he wrote.

???
Holder said this?
Is this sentence structured properly? It doesn’t make sense as it written…

The problem is, it was put out there to begin with.

Now we know what the Koch Brothers think, as Cato is their baby.

What the hell is wrong with these people?

Un-publishing things has become a high art.

I guess Ilya Shapiro’s subtitle to his piece, The Trouble with Shvartzes, was too much, even for the Cato Institute.

The girth of the epistemic bubble must be occasionally augmented by the blather of idiots.

Wait, maybe we’re looking at this the wrong way. I thought George Wallace was beloved by the Cato Institute. . .kidding.

Cato just hasn’t been cogent since the Green Hornet was cancelled.

Ilya Shapiro wrote that, poor grammar and all.

Eric Holder towers miles and miles above the pathetic little Ilya Shapiros of the world.

No, Shapiro said this about Holder. Shapiro on the other hand only wants the right kind of old white people to vote.

Or as lawyer/Teabagger activist Jerry Johnson from Northern Virginia said at a rally on The Mall in April 2010, “It’s not just because he’s black…” (He was aiming his Teabagger racism at the President but obviously they would apply it to any other minority.)

Always remember the CATO people are the “sane” libertarians…Think about that for a moment.

This is what happens when the Koch funded White Knights made a hostile takeover of Cato.

The love of money is the root of all evil and wallowing in ignorance under any name, is a distant second.

The Koch brothers now write all the Cato stuff. They own it lock stock and barrel.

Clearly, as Asa Earl Carter, the Klansman who wrote the segregation now and ever piece for George Wallace, ended up as a contorted libertarian and novelist, later in life. We can substitute “Spook Who Sat By The Door” which is more endearing and understood by racists these days.

It is amazing how white racists have taken their own racist history and have thrown it on the victims of their racism. They can’t change history.
