What happens if large swathes of the population refuse to answer that question?

I think whatever they are up to it will backfire. Think about how many immigrants are in FL, and TX alone. both Rep. I am sure there are plenty in western states, agriculture states. If these idiots think it will hurt just Ca. They are surely mistaken.

They are worms… each and every one. But that would be insulting creatures that provide a positive impact on soil structure. Ok, they are cat barf. I can’t think of anything positive about that. Other than relief for the cat. Let’s start a thread on the best adjective for these trump critters.

Good question. What if one person refuses to answer? Does their entire line of questioning get tossed and they are not counted?

Does anyone know if Christopher Stanley helped procure prostitutes on behalf of former Sen Vitter? Since Christopher once served as an aide to Vitter, I feel it’s a fair question. I keep thinking of the DC Madam whenever Vitter’s name is mentioned.

What is the stated point of that question? I live in the SF Bay Area and have a number of friends that have a green card and work in tech. One has become a US citizen, but many aren’t interested in that path. All pay substantial tax dollars to the US government and are involved in their community. Should they not be represented?

Overheard somewhere on the intertubes:

If we are going to add new questions to the census about citizenship, then I would propose reviving one that was asked in the 1870 census. The modern version would echo the 2nd section of the 14th Amendment and ask all citizens above the age of 18 whether their right to vote has ever been “denied . . . or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion or other crime.”

Presumably the DJT household will also be asked about immigrants in the family and the status of their citizenship.

Jones Day is where Scalia worked for awhile (it was described as a “few years in private practice in Cleveland” by DC journalists who should have known better). It is a firm closely tied to the GOP and has had partners who were cabinet members, but the firm keeps a low profile.

Yes I’m a citizen. And FUCK YOU TRUMP is my name.

Maybe we can count “illegals” as 3/5 of a person…because that worked out so well the first time. Once again, we’re so lucky we didn’t elect “Crooked Hillary.”

Does the census also count those who are incarcerated or held in detention centers? By not counting them, or counting them as 3/5 of a person, will hurt the congressional district that these facilities are located.

They could start at Mar-a-Lago where Smeghead imported 70 immigrants to work there .
