Discussion: The Timeline Of Trump And Friends’ Donations To Veterans Makes No Sense

Old joke, but appropriate. How do know when Trump is lying? Watch to see if his lips are moving…

“Trump told The Washington Post that he never said the Iowa fundraiser raised $6 million. When reminded of his comment during the event that he had raised that amount, Trump replied that he didn’t have tape of it.”

Somewhere, Nathan Thurm is smiling as the ash on his lit cigarette refuses to fall…

In world of Trump, the definition of a Trump voter is: Here tonight, be gone tomorrow or a one-night stand!

The GOP as a party doesn’t care a whit for vets. They love sending them off to fight unnecessary wars, but then cheat them when they come home wounded and/or psychologically damaged.

Donald Tramp is a businessman, okay. Charity is for tax evasion and for dumbos and losers. Winners have towers named after them.

Real Americans agree with Mitt Romney who said it is perfectly fine to lie for power, for money, for your religion and for your family.

What’s with the slow-pay, Cheapskate Donny? $1M is only one hundredth of one per cent of your net worth. Or is it?

Does he think no one is watching a presidential contender? Just an idiotic self-inflicted wound. Too stupid to be president.

What’s so frightening about the Trump cult of personality is that his supporters don’t give a damn about this stuff while insisting they are the party of principles when all they are looking for is someone who is as big of an asshole as they are in power.

That’s the Republican business model:

Pay the defense contractors who make the war possible.
Shortchange the soldiers who actually have to fight it.

You are being unkind to manure. Manure has a good, practical use. Trump, on the other hand, has no practical use.

This wasn’t contribution. The Marine Corps Law Enforcement Fund is Rush Limbaugh’s pet charity. By giving to the MCLEF he was kissing up to Rush.

I’m not sure how HuffPo got this transcript of Trump’s conversation with David Farenthold Drew Harwell but it’s really amazing.

Edit: Drew Harwell is one of the WaPo journalists on the phone when Trump hung up on them for asking about John Miller.

Maybe he’ll throw another hissy fit and with great histrionics tell us stupid people that THIS is how you do BUSINESS!!!

My favorite part is at the end of the article where Fahrenthold confirms that this is the interview where Trump hung up the phone when asked about his alter ego John Miller!

Update on timeline:

June 3:

"Hello, Mr. Trump? This is the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation. We’ve attempted to cash your check on three separate occasions and it continues to be returned for ‘insufficient funds’.

“Mr. Trump? Mr. Trump, are you there?”

*** dial tone ***

I am surprised they even looked. It still seems like there is no accounting for the full amount, and that should be a slam-dunk; he HAS to have documentation that he passed on the donations (if he indeed did pass them on!).

What a weasel!

It took him four months to come up with a million dollars? Some billionaire.
