Sensible Republicans if any, should elect Nancy Pelosi as Speaker. The budget would pass on time and without drama, as conservative Democrats joined non bagger Republicans to let the baggers loudly vote against everything and make dramatic floor speeches before an empty chamber, without actually damaging the economy. Liberals would be more or less frozen out, as always.
