Sessions is a criminally racist asshole and co-conspirator and accessory to the Russian conspiracy and is doing what we expected him to do. The case will continue. In the meantime, I beseech the DNC and state parties to set up a program to get people voter IDs, starting with the key battleground states as Wave 1 (PA, WI, MI). We need to fund this program. I am certain that if the DNC sets up such a program, individual Dems will gladly contribute to it to make sure people have the IDs required to vote. We can beat the GOP at this game.

This should be at or very near the top of the to-do list of Perez and Ellison with regard to elections this year and especially 2018. The Democratic Party has to fight voter ID laws wherever possible, but it also has to give voters the tools to beat the suppression as well.
