Discussion: The Most Donald Trump Will Get From Paul Ryan Is A Marriage Of Convenience

One wonders just how extreme would Trumps rhetoric have to be before the GOP abandoned him.

Ryan just needs time to come to terms with his and his party’s inherent bigotry and sexism. Trump was there years ago, much of the GOP many years before Trump and some, like Ryan, will get there, they just aren’t introspective enough to realize what they are yet.

Which of Trump’s marriages haven’t been for someone’s convenience?

This is the stuff that Ryan is encourage about –
Donald Trump’s most loyal servant has a profound hatred of President Obama. Mother Jones
revealed Thursday that Anthony Senecal—who worked for 17 years as
Trump’s butler before being named in-house historian—has a history of
racist Facebook posts calling Obama a “filthy muzzie” and suggesting
“this prick needs to be hung for treason,” among other screeds. In one
post, he published a photograph of Obama with the caption “If ALLAH HAD
AN ASSHOLE IT WOULD LOOK LIKE THIS,” and on June 18, he referred to the
president as an “unfeeling sack of camel feces.” In other instances, he
called Hillary Clinton a “cunt.”

This is the stuff the Donald believes!!! And Ryan is okay with this!!!

It’s Donaldball. The rules are whatever he says they are and are subject to change at any time.
Many thought he jumped the shark when he said that he could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue and people would still love him. But it’s true. He gets away with everything. He has an amazing reality distortion field effect on his followers and the Media love it. More eyeballs, more ad bucks, never running out of content when he’s around.

Just heard Mark Halperin say Ryan met Trump in a large room in the Capitol Visitor’s Center…That seems kinda of a put down…the visitor’s center rather than a more Trump-worthy meeting in a gilt-edged room in the Capitol itself?

I sure hope so. Otherwise, Ryan is signaling he agrees with Trump on his misogyny, racist views, closing down international trade as we know it (though I am certainly all for renegotiating ALL of those trade deals, just not spiking them all at once and declaring it “our way or nothing,” which is pretty much what Trump has espouses), ending the full faith and credit of the American dollar, on and on. Ryan, dude, you can’t have it both ways – if you endorse this very ignorant, hate-filled man, you own all that.

Yet, Ryan has little choice but to eventually come around to Trump. Already, some of Ryan’s Republican colleagues have expressed disappointment Ryan hesitated at all,…

These tools would “come around” to Adolph Hitler were he the nominee. Christ, what a bunch of assholes.

Ryan began his 2020 campaign today for the White House. He made it clear that he, and he only, is in charge of protecting the conservative movement…from Trump and his Palin People. Ryan left no doubt that Trump cannot be trusted. So much for getting to know one another.

The only deal made today was an unsettled truce before the approaching storm after the convention…one that could blow up at anytime. Congressional Republicans are now sitting in their bomb shelter wondering when Trump’s Blitz could begin.

He’s being sweet to them now, but we all know that Donald the Demagogue demands complete homage and obedience within his domain…now their party. Trump can damn one to perdition at just the merest perceived slight. He likes to toy with people. He starts feuds just to see if he can get someone to squirm.

That’s why I’m thoroughly convinced the GOP Resistance has already started. Overtures will be made to Democrats for sanctuary for the coming deluge of Republican refugees who will be fleeing The Fuhrers’s anger. Moderates began exiting the GOP as long ago as 2006. Now a surge of the last remaining unnerved and frightened Country Club Republicans will join a final Exodus.

Once their convention is over, all semblance of unity or even civility will cease in the GOP. All those who have not pledged complete fealty to The Donald will be running for the hills seeking cover from the onslaught of the barbarian Palin People.

“I heard a lot of good things from our presumptive nominee,” Ryan said.

Of course you did. Trump is a master of the mumbling oracle–whatever you want to hear is in there. Tomorrow, when it is inconvenient to be quoted, he will blame you for getting it wrong, or this was just a suggestion, or everything is negotiable.

More than rhetoric. Trump may yet try out that shooting on Fifth Avenue idea.

can I hold the shotgun?

Real cowards. They are clenching their pearls and foreign tax shelters like they have already missed The Rapture.

Most of the Congressional Christian Right have gone over to the Anti-Christ without attempting even the slightest resistance. Oh, how the High and Mighty conservatives are failing themselves and their party. Their fall from grace is as clodhopper as their new party leader.

Save me from the Good People.

Trump will tie Ryan to a target and have Ted Nugent go for it. The Donald never does anything that His People can do for him. He’s that lazy of an old fart.

Blah, blah, blah…Paul
So here’s a question for the RYAN, has YOUR Republican controlled congress approval ratings improved since you’ve taken the position as Speak of the House?
To date, 88% DISAPPROVAL ratings…LOL
Poor JOB performance would mean in Donald’s world…YOU’RE FIRED.
There is a huge problem within the RNC…HUGE. And Donald Trump will make it worse. There’s no bringing the Republican Party together, after all, to do WHAT they can’t govern, they’re incompetent. TOTALLY.

Dream on BABY, DREAM ON…it’s all BS.
