Discussion: The Mind-Boggling Questions We Still Have About Miss. Courthouse Caper

Discussion for article #223572

I think the big answered question should be how many ACORN members ever just randomly found themselves locked in a courthouse where the ballots were.

“Move along, nothing to see here folks”. Just Baggers being baggers and getting away with it.

Just amazing how an investigation could be opened and closed within such a short period of time and without answering any questions. Nothing to see here, folks, just carry on. Must be the Mississippi thing.

Mississippi gets what they deserve if this goober wins.

…pretty clear, Mississippi Republicans hate our President more than they love democracy… their willingness to support these kinds of bullies and crooks belies that sad fact.

And, of course, we know why, especially in Mississippi.

Allowing southern schools to teach “War of Northern Aggression” rather than driving home the abject failure of the antebellum slaver culture, and glorifying seditious southern generals by naming our military bases after them, are all part and parcel of “why.”

Janis Lane likely changed her story because she panicked and said she was with another woman, fearing it would sound funny if she was with men for a long period, alone, locked up in the courthouse. I DON"T think it was a three-way, however, for the reason that three-ways are unusual anywhere, much less in a Mississippi courthouse. And three hours is a long time for any man to go, especially with another man watching,e specially in Mississippi.

Motto of ALL the other low/no information Bagger RedStates in the South: “Thank Gawwwwwd’ fer’ Mississippi!”

Isn’t it those of the same ilk as these Miss. GOPig Teabaggers who are forever caterwauling about election fraud?

After their totally and completely innocent imprisonment, all their cell phones stopped working for a while, all at the same time of course, then they found themselves going in circles after passing that weird collection of hanging stick figures.
Yeah…that’s the ticket!

From now on, this group shall be referred to as “The Gang That Couldn’t Vote Tamper Straight.”

There was definitely criminal intent! They had to know the Courthouse was closed and all poll workers/security had left the bldg. It was 2am for god sake! The Justice Dept. needs to open an investigation. The attempt to falsify or tamper with election ballots is a “Federal Offense”! The state does not have the jurisdiction when it comes to a federal election. Period!

My theory is that they bribed a courthouse employee to leave the door unlocked, for them to enter into after everyone had gone home.

You’ve got to be kidding. Members of a candidate’s campaign staff spend hours alone in a building where votes are kept–but no laws have been broken? Oh, wait, I forgot that Republicans are allowed to do whatever they want because God told them it was okay to screw Democrats.

You would think that the Hinds county sheriff would want to take a look at the security cameras just to see who let them in or if maybe one of his deputies did. I mean why did the investigation just stop? Why didn’t the Hinds county sheriff look into it further just for how they got in. Sounds like there is someone pulling strings with the sheriff. Nobody goes into a locked courthouse at 1130 PM when the polls have closed and the results have been counted for nothing.
