Discussion: The Growing GOP Drumbeat For Indefinite Family Immigration Detention

There is no bottom to their wanton, inhumane cruelty. And they are willing to spend whatever it takes to attain it.

These people are beyond broken. Debitors prison can’t be far behind.

I think that Republicans realize that if they retain majority in Congress it will be politically untenable to protect this administration another two years.

However in Dems are in the majority, they can slam dems for trying to take down Trump.

Since Republicans have given away so much to corporate America especially the MSM and also own a propaganda outfit (Fox) they may go along with it.

Republican plan would be to try and save 2020 and steal, via gerrymandering, another 10 years of overrepresentation in the house.

Isnt Trump being under Putin’s thumb his own (and by extension all of our own) debtors prison.

How appropriate that Hispanic Ted Cruz is one of those sponsoring this inhumane “I got mine, fuck you!” legislation directed against other Hispanics.

We really didn’t need further proof that the GOP has become the political equivalent of a truly evil, despicable Bond villain. Fuck the GOP.

The party that presents itself as family oriented and Christian has become the party of self justification and legalism.

Almost precisely what Hitler did to the Jews and their so called sympathizers. Thank god the resistance kept the Nazis in check long enough to weaken them and to buy enough time for the Americans with a morale compass to enter the war and help to defeat fascism, central authoritarianism, and racism.

Let’s hope there is enough resistance in the US to keep Trump and the Republicans and their neo-Nazi push and central authoritarianism until we can be rescued by other countries and the international community that actually believes in Democracy, equality, and the rule of law and international treaties.

We must record everything and keep the tapes…Trump and the Republicans will one day face their own Nuremberg trial. Let’s make it easy to hang them!

GITMO v2.0

What could possibly go wrong?

Not quite: they are the party of the fascist Oligarchy and neo-Nazi movement. They aren’t just going after so called illegal immigrants, they are going after blacks, LGBTQ, women, and anyone who opposes their ideology and corrupt ways.

Ted Cruz…another product of the Ivy League which is the root of the problem of the fascist movement in the US. Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Datrmouth in particular are the training grounds of the white supremacist and neo-Nazis like Ted Cruz.

No. Manzinar 2.0. And trust me, these “family camps” will be surrounded by razor wire and heavily armed men who hate them authorized to use deadly force to keep them there.

Concentration camps on American soil again. And once they’ve normalized that, don’t think for a minute that they won’t immediately start mulling over the possibilities with regard to certain classes of citizens.

We already have Concentration Camps. They’re mostly for black men, and they are called “prisons.” Why do you think we have more people per capita in captivity than any other country in the world?

And it is already legal for the government to torture you, kill you, imprison you, and take away your property without any due process.

Land of the free and home of the brave? Not.

Only going to get worse.

Also, the option to wave Flores rights is beyond sick. “Sign this paper [you may not be able to even read or understand] or you’ll never see your children again”. Almost as MAGA as making 3 year olds appear in immigration courts.

“Indefinite family detention” seems to be the Republican’s “final solution.”

Let me fix that for you:

How appropriate that Hispanic Ted Cruz (who’s father is from Cuba and he was born in Canada so he IS NOT an actual American citizen) is one of those sponsoring this inhumane “I got mine, fuck you!” legislation directed against other Hispanics.

So let me see if I understand. First the GOP and their fellow travelers don’t want them here and want to build a wall to keep them out. Now, they want to catch them and keep them here indefinitely at a cost of million if not billions. Makes perfect sense to me

So much evil. So many Republicans and Republican-leaning so-called Independents.
Why are over 40% of Americans staunch supporters of ongoing stupidity, criminality and manifest evil?
America is a very very sick place.
Think climate change: The pervasive sickness creeps up and becomes well nigh unstoppable.

My assumption is that the Rethugs think this is a combination of deterrence for future evil, brown hordes contemplating arriving here AND current free slave labor. As this country looks to a future with many elderly Baby Boomers (tail end), someone will have to clean up after them. (See Home Health Aides). Problem solved.
