Moore wrote a column for the National Review in the early 2000s, where he went on sexist screeds about women’s sports (female athletes wanting equal pay for “inferior work”) and on women voting after his wife supported a Democrat (“women are sooo malleable! No wonder there’s a gender gap”).
Is he still married to his malleable wife?

This is just pro forma. They are going to go forward with the nomination. Saying what Moore said was unacceptable would be an indictment on what Trump has said about woman. His ego couldn’t handle the refutation.

The phrase “Seldom right but never in doubt” was coined for people like Moore and Trump. As sure as windmills cause cancer, Moore’s opinions on everything qualify him only for the position of right wing pundit on FOX. He would absolutely fail at any other endeavor.

The White House is obviously way understaffed, and this could drag on for days if we don’t step in and help them out.
Moore will be withdrawing from consideration, because radical socialist liberals have been threatening his family.
The WH can sit on this until tomorrow, to figure out if they can work an anti-immigrant element into it, but waiting any longer just looks weak. Either announce Moore’s withdrawal or tell McConnell that he’d better get Moore through.

True, but possibly the tide is turning. I heard an NPR report this morning about [SWAN][1] (Service Women’s Action Network) a no-nonsense military women’s group on the subject of rape in the military. The quote that surprised me was a SWAN saying basically, "when we have a COC that has been accused of sexual assault by dozens, and self-admits to “grabbing them by the pussy” and nothing happens, the rank and file see that as a green light.
I think this is good for two reasons.
- NPR did not bleep “pussy”, for that is what the now COC said.
- Conservatives need to be reminded, again and again, this is actually their President.
I am not naive enough to think this will be a tidal shift among conservatives, but the media and Dems need to spell it out. No BS military women do.
