Living abroad, I can’t watch the Daily Show anymore. Okay, I can accept that for whatever arcane corporate reasoning they don’t want internet viewers from non-US locations any more.
But what gets me every`time is the message on the computer screen: “You’re so close, yet so far away.” It is really necessary to rub it in and to add insult to injury? Do they absolutely have to insult everyone who dares approaching the Daily Show from a non-US address?
I saw the ad on “The Daily Show” a while ago. Of course, we here in Wisconsin have been seeing that ad regularly over the last year. Just a reminder that Scott Walker is bought and paid for by the Kochs
I wonder how Jon Stewart’s skit would have gone in a world where the majority of newspapers and TV networks were more like Fox News rather than MSNBC; if Washington was abolishing many programs and cutting spending drastically and the Koch brothers were liberals who were legally working within the current system to try and elect liberals and get a liberal message out?
