No opinion on designers, I havenāt followed that biz. I just rely on eyeballs and taste. I liked the line of that lapel, drawing attention away from the necklineā¦Something Melania should have considered unless she was making a silent protest.
Hillary seems to be striving for a more formalized yet feminine manner of dress. The tweeds sheās been wearing gave a good appearance. Anyway considering her height and reliance on a low heel I thought the lapel gave her some length and height and framed her face better, more presidentially than some neck wrapping.
Plus, how can one wear a flag lapel pin without a lapel?
Iām amazed how little the idea of a female president has dented the mediaās candy shellā¦
HRC will have a huge impact on work dress style I would guess.
