As much as Republicans thought Kav did a great job at the hearing because he was obnoxious and combative, I’ve wondered if all the weeping and talk of drinking didn’t sour PP quite a bit. Honestly, PP is just the kind of macho piece of shit who thinks a man crying under any circumstance is a show of weakness. And we know how much he hates alcohol.

Is there a democratic senator with a drinking problem? If the proportion of problem drinkers in the Senate matches the population at large, there would be seven problem drinkers in the Senate, six men and one woman.

The American voter is suffering from the most ridiculous leaership we’ve ever seen. This man is all “ID” and no thought. How can anyone believe he will ever support them if in some small way whatever they are doing is not about his self agrondisement!? He shames us constantly and has no shame whatsoever. Im appaled at his demeanor and rampant lying and obfuscating. He left TPP and NAFTA to simply do the same things they doin a different wrapper. What an idiot.

We drank beer. I liked beer. I still like beer. Actually going to a local craft-beer festival in a week or two. Comes in many lovely varieties and there’s nothing like it after time outside in the heat. Any more if I drink more than a couple I feel bloated though.
I thought we simply walked away from TPP with nothing to replace it, and other countries happily filled the vacuum, basically, with ourselves having nothing to show for it and a loss of influence. Know nothing of macroeconomics but I seem to recall talk to that effect.

not NAFTA - it is now USMCA whereby Trump tries to force US dairy products onto Canada’s tiny diary industry. Many Canadians have resolved to boycott any product like cheese and yoghurt that might contain US industrial milk products,. Also many Canadians have resolved NOT to vacation in the US until Trump is out of office.

The Canadians replying on the NYT article said American milk was terrible; full of GMO, hormone induced products. So another pissed off trading partner. You can force American milk on a Canadian, but you can’t make them buy it.
