Clearly the answer to this is MORE guns on campus. There should just be extra guns laying around on tables, park benches, laundromats, mailboxes, student unions, and the like just in case some good guy forgot or misplaced their own gun that day.
We need more guns and more courage to charge at shooters.

A person died. If you have no sympathy because they live in a particular state then there is something very wrong with you. By the way, hate is a lot of what fuels the gun culture.
We have to do something. These tragedies must be stopped. Certainly the fools that think more guns are the answer could not be more wrong. But the dead certainly do not deserve scorn.

They need to require concealed carry.

Can I bring up the old "If you’re not part of the solution. . . . " idea?
If you’d really like to do something other than scream at the television or computer (which admittedly has its own rewards), you can join Mayors Against Illegal Guns or Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense, no dues required.
You then can actually DO something that might help, your own choice and your own way and in your own time.
I hope everyone reading this will at least consider it. Imagine having an impact equal to the NRA on legislators and on public opinion, except actually working to SAVE lives. What a beautiful idea.
